Delays In Motor Skills

We help children who are experiencing a range of severity of delays in development of large movements such as rolling, sitting unsupported, walking, jumping, or climbing. Through personalized, 1-on-1 play-based therapy and strategies, we support your child in building the strength, coordination, and confidence they need to reach important physical milestones.

Torticollis/Plagiocephaly

Torticollis is a condition where a baby’s neck muscles are tight, causing their head to tilt to one side and/or turn the opposite side. Plagiocephaly refers to a flat spot on a baby’s head, often related to but not limited to, limited/restricted movements or positioning during pregnancy or after birth. We foster a tear-free approach to stretching and treatment in order to provide a positive experience without harming the relationships between baby and caregivers.

Pediatric Pelvic Floor Dysfunction

Pediatric pelvic floor dysfunction can lead to challenges during everyday life such as frequent accidents, constipation, or difficulty potty training in a child who was once potty trained or is older than 5 years old*. Pediatric physical therapy can help by addressing muscle coordination, posture, and movements patterns that affect the pelvic floor during voiding and functional movements. Through gentle, age-appropriate, individualized exercises and education, we work to improve bladder and bowel control, helping kids feel more comfortable and confident to to the things they love.

Coordination and Balance

Children may walk with patterns such as in-toeing, out-toeing, walking on their toes, frequently tripping, or show general sized of poor coordination. These gait deviations can affect balance, safety, and confidence during play and daily activities. Pediatric Physical Therapy assists in identify the underlying causes and provides specific and individualized causes and provides targeted exercises, stretching, and movement training to allow for your child to more safely move and interact with the world around them.

Orthopedic Conditions

Pediatric Physical Therapists treat a wide range of orthopedic conditions that affect bones, joints, and muscles. These may include conditions like fractures, joint injuries, growing pains, scoliosis, leg length differences, flat feet, and sports-related injuries , and alignment, we help children heal, move better, and return to the activities they love.

Neurologic Conditions

Diagnoses such as cerebral palsy, spina bifida, muscular dystrophy, developmental delays, genetic or chromosomal disorders, and brain or spinal cord related injuries are supported through personalized, play-based therapy. We work to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence- helping each child reach rheir fullest potential.
